Floral Design Portfolio

Flowers have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember—it’s where I’m happiest! With dual Dutch and American citizenship, you could say florals are in my blood—my grandfather was a master gardener for a wealthy Dutch family, so I guess it runs in the family.

After college, I jumped into the floral world, working in and eventually managing a flower shop in Denver. I handled everything from ordering fresh blooms to crafting stunning handheld and vase arrangements. While my career path led me in other directions, I’ve always kept my floral design skills sharp, studying both traditional and Japanese floral design and working with French Florist in West Hollywood during the busiest seasons.

Now, I’m excited to bring my passion back to the forefront with Strawflower Design, my freelance floral business. For me, every arrangement starts with a theme—the vase is my blank canvas, and flowers are my medium. I’d love to create something special for you!
